Team Scholarship

The Trek Red Truck Racing Team is committed to developing young cyclists to reach their fullest potential in their cycling endeavors and as individuals. Through our sponsors and friends’ support, we provide an environment where our young athletes can compete at the highest level while still maintaining their educational pursuits.

Trek Red Truck is launching an exciting opportunity for existing team members and philanthropists to participate in the development of the futures of our Elite Racing Team (young riders). Based on feed-back from within the cycling community and from within our existing Partnership, we are pleased to announce and present the Trek Red Truck Educational Scholarship.

 

Program Purpose

The purpose of the scholarship program is to acknowledge outstanding performance through:

• Educational Performance - based on grades and records from the previous year
• Athletic Performance
• Commitment, Attitude, Work Ethic, Dedication, Goals
  

A committee will identify recipients of the scholarship annually upon the conclusion of a racing season. To be eligible for the award candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Must have completed one year as a member of Trek Red Truck Racing Team
• Must be enrolled and attending an educational institution; U17 full-time attendance of secondary school, graduates of secondary must be in attendance of a Post Secondary Institution; college, university.

 

Donations of any denomination are greatly appreciated, and donors will receive a tax receipt for contributions to the Scholarship fund. Please note that parents and guardians of eligible athletes are not permitted to make donations. For more information from the riders themselves, please see our scholarship brochure.
