Training Camp
The Trek Red Truck cycling team started the season off on a high in Northern
California this March. The week long training camp was the first time that all
10 elite men and 5 female riders came together.
Right off the bat, it was evident that this year's group of riders had more than
just talent and fitness; they had great team chemistry too! With this diverse,
well rounded young roster, the upcoming season is shaping up to be bright one
for the team. The camp also saw Masters riders from the team, including hockey
legend Trevor Linden who made his mark riding very strongly through out the
week.
Although the weather was far from cooperative at times, spirits were high and
the riding was phenomenal. Santa Rosa offered a wide range of riding terrain,
from rolling to steep long climbs. The team took full advantage of this doing a
major climb almost every day. Along with the riding, the food during the camp
was also great. Marcia and Wayne did a fantastic job cooking superb health
conscious meals to keep us fueled up for training, thank you!

Thanks so much to all the sponsors who made this camp possible. We especially
thank Chris and Monique Wilberg for their ongoing support and passion for
cycling, and our team. The 2010 Trek Red Truck training camp in Santa Rosa was a
great success, and promises many good things to come throughout the season!
